Answers to common questions about buying, delivery, registration and servicing of DJI Enterprise equipment in Kazakhstan.
Buying and payment
How do I buy DJI Enterprise equipment in Kazakhstan?
Click “Request a quote” on a product page or send a request on the Contacts page. An engineer will clarify your task, select the right kit and send a commercial offer within one business day. In the regions, equipment is supplied by our dealers; large and government projects are handled by ITEN LLP together with a dealer or directly.
Who sells the equipment — X-FLY or ITEN LLP?
The seller and contracting party is ITEN LLP (BIN 170340020907), the official DJI Enterprise distributor in Kazakhstan. X-FLY is its trademark.
Why is there no “Buy” button on the site?
Industrial equipment is configured for the task: kit, batteries, payloads, software and training. That is why we prepare a commercial offer for your project. Prices on the site are shown in tenge for reference.
Do you work with VAT? What documents does a company receive?
Yes, prices on the site include VAT. The buyer receives a contract, an invoice for payment, an electronic VAT invoice and a waybill. The waybill with the drone’s serial number is also needed to register the aircraft.
Do you take part in public procurement?
Yes: on the public procurement portal goszakup.gov.kz and in Samruk-Kazyna JSC procurement. We issue a DJI authorization letter for tenders and documents confirming the official origin of the equipment and the manufacturer’s warranty. We can help draft a technical specification for your task.
Can I buy as an individual?
No. We work with organizations: supply under a contract, with accounting documents.
How do I become a DJI Enterprise dealer?
Fill in the application on the For dealers page. Dealers get dealer prices, training and certification, demo equipment and deal protection.
Delivery and availability
Do you deliver across Kazakhstan?
Yes, throughout Kazakhstan. Delivery time and cost are stated in the commercial offer. You can also pick up your order at our office in Almaty: 163A Auezov St., office 204, Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00.
Is equipment in stock or made to order? What is the lead time?
Some items are in stock in Almaty; the rest we supply to order directly from DJI — usually within 2–6 weeks. The exact lead time for each item is in the commercial offer.
Can I see the equipment in person or book a demo?
Yes: at our showroom in Almaty by appointment. We also run on-site demonstrations at the customer’s facility — terms are agreed individually.
Drone registration and flights in Kazakhstan
This section is based on public sources and is not legal advice. Check current requirements with Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC.
Do I need to register a drone?
Yes. Drones with a maximum takeoff weight of 250 g or more must be registered, as well as lighter drones fitted with a camera or other sensors. All DJI Enterprise industrial equipment is subject to registration. The application is filed within 10 business days of purchase.
How do I register a drone?
- Obtain a declaration of technical conformity from Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC (via eOtinish).
- Apply for the public service “Registration of an unmanned aircraft system” with a digital signature (EDS). You will need a proof of ownership (a contract or waybill with the buyer’s details and the serial number — a cash receipt is not accepted), plus the aircraft data and photos. Review takes up to 10 business days; the service is free.
- Receive the certificate (valid for 5 years) and apply the registration mark: in 3 places for drones up to 1.5 kg, in 5 places for heavier ones.
Do I need a permit for every flight?
No, if the flight falls into the “open” category: daytime, within visual line of sight, not over densely populated areas, outside prohibited and restricted zones, no closer than 8 km to aerodromes, no higher than 50 m in controlled and 200 m in uncontrolled airspace, and no closer than 100 m to people, vehicles and buildings. Aerial work, flights over cities or in restricted zones require a permit (the “specific” category).
Does the operator need a certificate?
Yes. When flying, the operator must have the UAS registration certificate, a UAS operator certificate and an ID, and for flights in special zones also a permit. Our training is theoretical and practical instruction in operating the equipment; it does not grant a UAS operator certificate.
What happens if I fly without registration?
Fines under Articles 563 and 569 of the Code of Administrative Offences of Kazakhstan; for repeated violations the aircraft may be confiscated.
Warranty, service and training
What warranty does the equipment have?
The official manufacturer’s warranty is up to 2 years; the term depends on the model and is stated in the warranty card. To make a claim you need the warranty card and the waybill. The warranty does not cover equipment imported into Kazakhstan unofficially or damage caused by improper use — see the Warranty page for details.
Why is official equipment better than grey imports?
The DJI warranty is valid in Kazakhstan, you get documents for registration and public procurement, the equipment runs current firmware and software licenses (FlightHub 2, DJI Terra), and our engineers are available for support.
Who repairs equipment under warranty and after it?
We do, in Almaty: our service engineer handles diagnostics and repair. For certain repair categories we send the equipment to a DJI service center and take care of the paperwork.
Do you train pilots?
Yes: theoretical and practical training for operators — flying, mission planning, working with software and data. The program, duration and cost are calculated individually for the customer’s tasks. We do not issue UAS operator certificates.
Who installs DJI Dock stations?
ITEN LLP specialists certified by DJI to install Dock 3: site survey, installation, FlightHub 2 setup and commissioning.
What is FlightHub 2 and do I need a license?
DJI’s cloud platform for managing flights, docks and pilot teams. Working with DJI Dock requires a FlightHub 2 license (1 or 12 months) — available in our catalog.
